The 9th Annual Outer Banks Shrimp Cookoff to benefit the Outer Banks Center for Dolphin Research was held on Sunday November 4th from 12-3 pm at Ocean Boulevard Bistro and Martini Bar in Kitty Hawk, NC.
Local restaurants competed to prepare the best shrimp dish. A large silent auction with donations from local businesses, live MC, OB drink specials, 50/50 raffle, door prizes, and a dolphin conservation booth rounded out the event! This year’s event was sponsored by Kitty Hawk Kites, the Nags Head Dolphin Watch, Outer Banks Veterinary Hospital, Atlantic Dentistry, Joe Lamb Jr. & Associates, Village Realty, TowneBank, Access Design, and Jam Radio.

People’s Choice: Red Drum – Sesame Veggie Noodles with Seared Shrimp and Cusabi Dressing
Judge’s Choice: Sooey’s BBQ – Further South Shrimp Cocktail
