The 13th Annual Outer Banks Shrimp Crawl will be held over the weekend of November 4th-5th throughout the Outer Banks to benefit the Outer Banks Center for Dolphin Research! Local chefs will compete to prepare the best shrimp dish appetizer. Take the weekend to visit up to 4 restaurants and vote for your favorite shrimp.

Two Roads Tavern, Chef Glen: Buttered shrimp curry with red pepper coconut quinoa and couscous

Sandtrap Tavern, Chef Mike:Shrimp bisque and shrimp crab cake topped with fried shrimp

Shipwreck’s Taphouse and Grill, Chef Jack’s smoked gouda fried grit cake with peppers, onions, and andouille sausage in a house cajun sauce, finished with fried leeks OR Chef Barry’s broiled shrimp topped with a crabcake and finished with a sundried tomato cream sauce

Outer Banks Brewing Station (dinner only), Chef Tony: Sichuan dan dan noodles with ground pork and local shrimp topped with roasted peanuts

The shrimp crawl starts on Friday November 4th, 2022 when restaurants open for lunch! (Please note, OB Brewing Station and Mahi’s are dinner only). Bring your PayPal receipt to each restaurant you visit, this is your ticket! You will receive a voting link by email (email that you used to purchase your ticket) to vote for your favorite restaurant!
